10-step process fueled by 7 hours of face to face collaboration
A. Initial Meeting
This meeting is with your Executive Coach and Career Transition professional from Perpetual Ambition. The meeting will cover your Goals, Expectation Management, Areas of Emphasis, and program outline. The program is designed to your unique style, needs, goals and personal circumstance.
B. Talent Assessment
This is online and will give you greater insight into your thinking styles (verbal and numerical abilities), your behavioural styles (the way you work) and your Interest Themes (the environments that you are most drawn to). You will complete a talent assessment as well as provide references of previous line managers or team members. Perpetual Ambition will conduct verbal 360-degree references from these individuals to get their perspective of your strengths and how others see you.
C. Feedback Meeting
This meeting will examine and discuss the results of the Talent Assessment you have completed, as well as discuss the feedback from the 360-degree references which will set the stage for the coaching phase of the workshop.
D. Realization of Objectives and Ambition
This meeting is a coaching session, exploring what are you good at, what you enjoy, the priority of compensation, career ambition and promotion. We will examine and define your next role:
- Ideal position
- Positional Guardrails
- Your personal statement
- How your personal profile matches the role requirements
E. Self Evaluation and Elevator Pitch
This session is a personal examination and thought provoking look at your personal statement through self evaluation and preparing a convincing, credible and succinct Elevator Pitch.
F. Review of Objectives
This meeting will review and discuss your ambitions, examine your self-evaluation and elevator pitch. This pitch will be video recorded and played back – to analyze the result – we will then discuss your 10-line self-awareness pitch. One of the most important steps in getting others on board with your career transition is crafting a compelling narrative. It’s a tool often overlooked by professional reinventers, but it can be a critical determinant of success in winning others’ support for your professional goals and vision for the future.
G. Career Transition Search Strategy I
We will focus on Effective Networking, the use of Linkedin, resume writing, your target audience and interview preparation. A mock interview and certain sections of an interview will be video recorded for examination and de-briefing. We will explore self-marketing techniques, maximizing the use of the Internet, negotiating the offer, job leads, resume development, cover letters and networking contacts.

I. Conclusion and Wrap Up Meeting
This meeting will be an analysis of accomplishments, reevaluating your transferable and marketable skills and review of the job market.
J. Ongoing Support, Coaching, Mentoring
This ongoing session will provide search support, ongoing counsel and offer management when required – this will also provide the ideal link and connection to Perpetual Insights – Partners in Search.
